Bella Vista Village has been home for my cousin, Joan G, for a little over 5 years. As her health and vision have declined, she is still thriving with the care and love she is shown everyday by staff and caregivers. All through Covid’s trying times we knew she was cared for. We celebrate her Birthdays there by providing cake and ice-cream for all. It is fun for her family to share and visit with other residents. At times we have a meal with just her by bringing in food she enjoys and can’t travel out for. The staff is helpful and accommodating to us at such times.

We were in crisis mode when our mother moved to Bella Vista Villages, but Jessica and her team welcomed us so warmly and put our minds at ease. Mom became part of the family, and so did we. In addition to the excellent and attentive daily care, the staff went above and beyond: celebrating every special occasion, accommodating special needs and special favorites, and genuinely getting to know our mom. We live far away, but we never felt out-of-touch. We will be forever grateful that we found Bella Vista Villages.
Moving our mother to Bella Vista Village (from a larger facility) has improved her happiness and well-being in every way. The cozy, cheerful rooms and common areas have lots of natural light, and a lovely deck and patio–with plants and flowers in view–provide access to fresh air and sunshine on nice days. The place has a warm, family-like atmosphere, and the caregivers devote consistent personal attention to each resident (compared to the big facility). This lets us trust our mother is being treated as a person, and that she is not isolated, lonely, or neglected. Because Jessica and all the caregivers know her well, they help us family members stay apprised of her well-being and help us coordinate care for her medical and other needs as they arise. The meals are tasty, including fresh fruits and vegetables, and there are special treats on holidays and birthday celebrations. In short, we appreciate Bella Vista Village as a safe, supportive, and appealing place for our mother to call home.
I agree with all the testimonials above. My father suddenly needed a residential home to go to after having a fall. We live in the UK so we didn’t know where to start. My brother found Bella Vista with the help of an agent and Jessica immediately got everything sorted so that Dad could settle into Bella Vista quickly and easily. I then arrived from the UK and spent the following 6 days at Bella Vista all day every day so I saw at first hand how lovely all the staff are to the residents. They genuinely care about their residents and look after them with dignity and respect but also give them a cuddle when it’s needed. The food is incredible and is so good, freshly prepared every day in a domestic kitchen where the residents who want to, can then sit round a large trestle table to have their meals. It is feels like a real home not a residential facility. The home itself is light and airy, clean and homely with lots of well maintained beds of shrubs and flowers so overall is a very pleasant place to be.
Can’t recommend Bella Vista highly enough. I was completely confident leaving my father as I knew I was leaving him in very very good hands
We had a very difficult time finding a place in the Sonoma area. There are not a lot of choices and we felt challenged in finding a home that checked all of our boxes for our mom. On the day we were about to give up a caregiver mentioned Bella Vista Village II in Sonoma. We really got lucky! This place felt like a warm hug and we immediately connected with Jessica. I could not agree more with Rhonda & Sheree’s review. We cannot thank Jessica and her amazing team enough for all of their care and support in this incredibly difficult time.
Bella Vista has been home to my mother for over four years.
Her health had diminished rapidly and the attendants have risen to the challenge remarkably. She is in a safe & comforting environment.
I appreciate all the parties they host for the residents! It is wonderful to see all the residents with their families.

Bella Vista Village II has been a wonderful blessing for my family and me. My Aunt lived in California for over fifty years, while the rest of our family resides in Michigan. As her health began to decline, it became clear she couldn’t live independently anymore, but she wanted to stay in California. When I visited Bella Vista Village and met Jessica, I knew immediately this was the place. It’s a charming, well-decorated community with beautiful gardens, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is amazing, and the facility is spotless. My Aunt’s living space is very comfortable, and she truly enjoys her time there. The staff helps her with everything she needs, and she loves the food too. I’m so grateful to Jessica and her team for taking such great care of my Aunt and giving me peace of mind, knowing she’s in such good hands while I’m in Michigan. I couldn’t be happier with the care and support she’s receiving.
In the nearly two months I have viewed the operations of Bella Vista Villages I have been pleased with what I have seen.
Staff
The staff is experienced, competent, caring, and well-trained. They are attentive to the patient’s needs, and responsive to their requests. They do their duties efficiently and cheerfully. They work well together and are available to the patrons, checking on them every few hours in their room or in the living room.
Facility
The facility is clean, organized and well maintained, with television in every room. The laundry is on-site, and all members clothing and belongings are labeled with their name. All supplies that patients bring are counted. The grounds are attractive and organized, including a fountain and flowers. It is a secure facility with locked gates for individual entry and automobile part-time parking. Guest parking is available nearby. Guest registration is required with a temperature check for general health.
Food
The food is prepared on-site and is particularly tasty, well prepared and nutritious. It is served at a dining-room table or when needed in individual rooms.
Bella Vista Village has excellent management that ensures a pleasant stay for the occupants. I recommend it.
